- Abstract
The article provides information on a study which investigated the use of magnetic resonance techniques in the evaluation of non-typical diffuse axonal injury (DAI). DAI is defined in the study as an injury resulting from angled or rotational accelerating/ decelerating movement. The study used fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) and proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1HMRS) to evaluate the value of magnetic resonance techniques. The study aims to develop a satisfactory diagnostic method.
