MALAYSIA AIRLINES LOOKS TO EXPAND.
Abstract
An interview with Dr. Mohd Munir Majid, chairman of the Malaysia Airlines (MAS), is presented. When asked about how MAS will end 2010, he states that they expect to achieve their net profit target due to the strong demand in Asia Pacific. He reveals that they are goal setting their plans in a 5-year Business Transformation Plan from 2008 to 2012. Majid believes that what distinguishes their airline from other airlines is their iPad kiosk feature which allow passengers to book, pay, and check-in.
