- Abstract
The article examines the ability of ultrasonography in distinguishing delayed unions in three dogs that required surgical intervention from those that would heal conservatively. According to the authors, the delayed union would be managed conservatively if a moderate to large amount of vascularization was present at the fracture site on power Doppler examination, providing that the surgical implants still provided stability.
