A novel HNRNPC-RARA fusion in acute promyelocytic leukaemia lacking PML-RARA rearrangement, sensitive to venetoclax-based therapy (B) Immunofluorescence analysis of 293T cells transfected with pcDNA3.1 expression plasmids of vehicle (vector), haemagglutinin (HA)-tagged HNRNPC, HA-tagged RARA, HA-tagged HNRNPC-RARA, and myc-tagged PML-RARA respectively. We identified a I HNRNPC-RARA i fusion in APL for the first time, which suggests that I HNRNPC i may be as a new partner gene other than I PML i in APL and the detailed biological function of I HNRNPC-RARA/RARG i needs to be investigated in the future.
