International Student Media Festival Breaks All Records.
- Authors
Shaw, Ned
- Abstract
The article reports on the success of the International Student Media Festival, which was set in Orlando, Florida. An increase to the number of participants across the board allegedly broke all records, considering its 2, 361 record entries, 1, 795 remarkable winners, as well as its attendance which has reached over 750 people at the festival itself. Students from 23 states and three countries contributed their classroom media projects to make it the most successful event of the year. The event kicked off by an opening event sponsored by Adobe Systems and featured David Helmley who demonstrated some of the special effects used in the Harry Potter movies, and ended with the usual awards ceremony given to students who outshone others.
