The article discusses investigations of everyday flexible literacy practices within an academic institutions. Topics discussed include sociocultural perspective of teaching literacy, literacy as a social practice which considers historical, social and cultural contexts, and the results of Reading, Curriculum Based Measurements (R-CBMs) which was performed to show improvement reading accuracy.
