- Title
PERISHABLE PRODUCE UNDER FOOD REGULATION.
- Authors
Gephart, W.F.
- Abstract
The article talks about food regulations for perishable commodities and produce. According to the author, the market of perishable goods has always experienced sudden breaks in prices, which caused others to lose, while others gain large amounts. He notes that there has been a distinction between perishables and non-perishables identified by the U.S. Food Administration. Several rules were imposed for the marketing of perishables aside from the general provisions of the administration, which involved licenses, contracts for purchase and contract provisions.
