This article provides information on this issue which fulfills the goal of the FIU Review to present articles concerning both theory and research in all areas of hospitality and tourism management. One of the article examines curricular and pedagogical issues concerning the field. Another article looks at future trends in the food-vending industry. An article looks at the strategic success of the largest food-service corporation in the U.S. A separate article suggests strategies to manage and make the most of the recent trend toward banning smoking in casinos. Finally, this issue presents articles on how to increase innovation within the hospitality industry and on the possible link between service quality and customer loyalty.
