WAYE, VICKI
- Abstract
The article presents the revised agreement between Australia and the European Community (EC) on Trade in Wine which addresses issues on wine-making practices, labelling rules and brand protection. It discusses the issues faced by the Australian wine industry, European Union market reforms, and the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Amendment Act 2010. The article concludes that Australia is justified in extending the agreement since it will secure access between the two markets.
