- Abstract
Objective: To examine the integration of sustainability in furniture design, focusing on material innovation, manufacturing process efficiency, and circular economy. Theoretical Framework: The study draws on current industry practices and challenges, emphasizing adaptive strategies and the role of digital technology in sustainability. Method: The research involved an in-depth analysis of academic literature, assessing sustainable practices and trends in furniture design. Results and Conclusion: Findings highlight the importance of conscious resource utilization, development of recyclable furniture, and preservation of natural resources for economic competitiveness and social responsibility. Implications: The study provides significant contributions to socio-environmental management, promoting sustainable design practices. Originality/Value: The research contributes to the advancement of knowledge in sustainable furniture design, emphasizing the importance of circular economy.
