- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 27-year-old patient of multigravida with known Eisenmenger's syndrome (ES) was scheduled for cesarean section. On transthoracic echocardiography, it showed atrioventricular septal defect with bidirectional shunt and severe pulmonary hypertension. The article discusses that maintaining balance between systemic vascular resistance and pulmonary vascular resistance without myocardial depression safe anesthetic management in a pregnant patient with ES.
