- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a patient with a vallecular cyst causing airway obstruction. Topics include debridement on diagnosis of septic shock due to deep neck infection, induced with thiopental sodium and succinylcholine acetate IV, and obstruction and retention of mucus in collecting ducts of submucosal glands. It mentions the anesthetic implications for vallecular cyst includes blind intubation and connection between vallecular cyst and comorbid diseases.
