- Abstract
Considering the radial clearance variation of bearings and air gap eccentricity of motor, the equivalent capacitance of bearings is divided into Hertz contact capacitance and non-Hertz contact capacitance based on Hertz contact theory, and the calculation model of equivalent capacitance of bearings is established. The variations of clearance between roller and raceway, maximum radial load, Hertz contact area, Hertz contact capacitance and non- Hertz contact capacitance during thermal stability process are analyzed based on this model. The results show that; the clearance between roller and raceway first decreases with the increase of temperature, then tends to be stable, and finally increases slightly; the maximum radial load of roller first decreases and then tends to be stable with the increase of temperature; the Hertz contact area first decreases and then increases with the increase of temperature; the Hertz contact capacitance and non-Hertz contact capacitance first increase and then tend to be stable with the increase of temperature. Compared with finite element method, the correctness of analytical calculation model of equivalent capacitance of bearings is verified, that is, the equivalent capacitance of bearings first increases and then tends to be stable with the increase of temperature during thermal stability process. The calculation results show that the voltage and EDM current of hearings increase gradually with the increase of temperature, and the increase of air gap eccentricity of motor will increase the EDM current and aggravate the electric corrosion of hearings.
