- Abstract
We took 30 photovoltaic fields in Hexi Corridor as the research object and proposed the rainwater collection system for photovoltaic electric field which consisting of photovoltaic panel collecting surface, collecting tube groove, collecting tube and cistern. We had also calculated respectively the collectible rainfall of 50 MWp photovoltaic farms in Wuwei, Zhangye and Jiayuguan under different rainfall conditions as well as the suitable diameter and reservoir volume for collection pipe in rainwater collection unit 1 MWp and 0.1 MWp of photovoltaic panel. The result shows that even in Jiayuguan, of which the annual rainfall is less than 100 mm, the theoretical value of annual rainwater collection can reach more than 2.3×104 m3. It is worth paying attention to the use of rainwater resources in this area.
