- Abstract
The study on mixture effect of karst groundwater and surface water in karst groundwater system is essential for rational development, utilization and protection of karst groundwater resources. On the basis of field investigation and sampling data, mixture effect of karst groundwater and surface water in the Liulin Spring area was explored using hydrogeochemical simulation methods and environmental isotopes tracing techniques, then the mixture ratio was calculated. The results were utilized to estimate quantity of rainfall infiltration in typical recharge area. The results show that the mixture between groundwater and surface water occurred near the surface water leakage belts during karst groundwater flowing from recharge area to runoff area and from runoff area to discharge area with a ratio of 3∶1 and 2∶3. In the recharge area near Tianjiahui, the mean annual quantity of rainfall infiltration is estimated with a value of about 0.07 m3/s.
