- Abstract
Aiming at the problem of superimposed water blocking effect formed by bridge groups on urban flood channel, taking the Qinhuai River, an important flood channel in Nanjing as an example, considering the bridge pier boundary, a two-dimensional mathematical model of the Qinhuai River was established and the water-blocking superposition effect of the bridge group was quantitatively analyzed. The results show that the upstream flow of the river channel is affected by the water blocking of the bridge group, the water level is higher, and the height of the water level increases with the increase of the number of piers. The superposition mechanism of the bridge group is clarified, and the formula for calculating the height of the bridge group is derived. The location influence coefficient of the bridge on both sides of the river channel and the center of the river channel is given. The results are verified by the bridge group of Chuhe River and the verification results are good. The established formula can reflect the water-blocking superposition effect of the bridge group well and it provides a scientific and reasonable basis for the quantitative analysis of the influence of the superimposed water from bridge group.
