- Abstract
In the mid-seventies, took shape a new religious approach aimed at recovering a sacred foundation for the organization of society. This revival has been accompanied by the expansion of some religions that got fans in societies where none existed previously. The religious revival also meant that people would turn to traditional religions, invigorated again and gave them new meaning. Hinduism and Buddhism experienced new waves of accession, updating and practice by people who previously were believers disinterested. Faced with this «religious revival» is the problem of secularization.
