- Abstract
The article offers information on the trade restrictive arguments of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) and the impact of international gold standard enforcement of intellectual property (IP) of goods in transit. It mentions the seizure and confiscation of generic medicines which are on transit through the ports of the European Union (EU). It presents analysis of the ACTA measures and provisions in relation to the creation of trade barriers.
