- Abstract
Relying on an investigation based on observations achieved in Berlin at the Memorial of the murdered Jews in Europe realised by Peter Eisenman, we'll notice that the space dedicated to memory leads, on a physical plan, many visitors into adopting the practices of remembrance and even, for some of them, the codes of reverence. But, paradoxically, we'll also observe that large numbers of persons behave as if the area of memory was similar as a playground. In fact, we'll see that, in a logic of globalized mass tourism, because it constitues one of the essential modalities of subjectivation, the spatiality participates widely in the effectuation of this paradox.
