- Abstract
The electrical characteristics and relationship among parameters of improved ISOP (Input Series Output Parallel) type DCT (Direct Current Transformer) during bipolar short circuit fault at medium voltage side are discussed. According to the characteristics of DC fault ride-through, in a small time scale, the inductance of DC reactor at medium-voltage side is taken as the dependent variable, and the explicit equations between it and the other parameters are derived. Then, a simplified calculation method under certain constraints is proposed, which is more conducive to engineering application. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed calculation method is verified by engineering application.
