- Abstract
This article provides a dendriform-tree setting for Fliess operators with matrix valued-inputs, a class of analytic nonlinear input-output systems. Such a description is convenient, for example, in quantum control. In particular, a description of such Fliess operators is provided using planar binary trees. Sufficient conditions for convergence are also given. This concept is then applied to solve a bilinear equation and related to more sophisticated combinatoric objects to give a glimpse of its full potential in control applications.
