Methods: integrative review of the literature, guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and MetaAnalyses (PRISMA), carried out in July 2023. The research question was developed, using the PCC (Population, Concept and Context) strategy: "What strategies have been used in the hospital environment to prevent pressure injuries? Electronic searches were carried out in the following databases: Nursing Database (BDENF), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE)/PubMed, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Spanish Bibliographic Index en Ciencias de la Salud (IBECS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Web of Science and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL). Studies in English, Portuguese or Spanish, available in full, were included and studies that addressed different types of treatment for PI and repeated studies were excluded. Results: the sample consisted of five studies, which presented strategic actions for a culture of injury prevention by the nursing team. Conclusions: the study allowed us to summarize the main promotion and prevention strategies most adopted by the nursing team to reduce Pressure Injuries in the hospital environment.
