- Abstract
In order to improve the precision of the MEMS gyroscope, The static error of the MEMS gyroscope is analyzed and the output model and calibration principle of the MEMS gyroscope is established, and then a novel precision calibration algorithm of the weighted recursive least square (RLS) method is proposed. The novel precision calibration algorithm can achieve the high precision calibration of the MEMS gyroscope. Furthermore, an effective adaptive filter processing method is provided for the low precision MEMS Gyroscope. The analysis for a large number of the experiment data shows that the performance of the MEMS gyroscope is obviously improved after its error is compensated by the proposed calibration algorithm.
