- Abstract
The article discusses matrix model for short-term dynamics of seeded populations of sea scallops. Topics discussed include use of competing risk theory to account for predation by crabs and by sea stars, correlations between dispersal and predation, use of perturbation analysis for ranking alternative management scenarios for increasing final scallop survival, and inclusion of seasonal variability in predator densities not effecting final scallop survival.
