The article discusses the discourse around the trigger warning through the analytic paradigm of racial literacy and the rhetorical frames of colorblind racism to illuminate how the trigger warning as currently conceptualized. It explores protect students from exposure to content that may awaken past traumas or cause them intense emotional discomfort.
