- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to evaluate extended cold germination test (ECGT) as an option tool to improve emergence of low phytate soybeans and germination. The study reveals that field emergence test and ECGT were significantly related, but the ECGT lessened germination equated with the field emergence test. It shows that ECGT did not frequently translate to poor emergence under the conditions of the field, protecting the use ECGT as an option tool.
