- Abstract
Two unusual slope-debris or block-debris slope landforms, which can be considered gelifluction (lobes and tongues) or cryogenic-nivation forms similar to rock stream or small rock glaciers, were discovered in the Jizerské hory Mts. Their origin is evidenced not only by their shape but also by their position: a leeward turbulent zone in keeping with the concept of anemo-orographic systems. These presumable cryogenic and nivation landforms significantly extend our knowledge of periglacial phenomena in the Jizerské hory Mts and the Sudeten Mts in general. Although a certain very small accumulation at the bottom of nivation hollows has been already attributed to a genesis similar to rock glaciers, the herein described two sites represent specific separate landforms, similar to minor "rock glaciers" described earlier in the Krkonoše Mts.
