- Abstract
The article describes a case of lipedematous alopecia (LA) in a 51-year-old male patient. Topics discussed include the physical examination of the patient which revealed progressive hair loss and erythema associated with LA, results of the laboratory tests conducted such as dermoscopy and ultrasound, and the favorable response of the patient to the oral mycophenolate mofetil administered.
