- Abstract
The article discusses the use of New Brunswick S41i, the low-emission incubator shaker in hybridoma and Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell culture. It mentions that S41i is an eco-friendly incubator developed by the company Eppendorf. The study reveals that New Brunswick S41i consumes les carbon dioxide gas comparison in comparison to the products of other companies and also exhibits significant reduction in carbon footprint. It presents the protocol for hybridoma and CHO cell culture. It presents several statistics including average viable cell density of CHO cells, viable cell densities of hybridoma cultures and average carbon dioxide gas consumption.
