- Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the level of school administrators' satisfaction with Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) and some factors affecting it. For this aim, EMIS Evaluation Questionnaire, developed by the authors, was conducted to 142 school administrators. In the analysis of data, descriptive statistics and regression analysis methods were used. The results showed that school administrators are very satisfied with EMIS, and consider that it is very usefull and appropriate to their tasks. Another result of the study revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship among school administrators' satisfaction with EMIS, usefullness and task fit. These two variables have a positive correlation with the satisfaction. According to the results of the regression analysis, 26 % of the level of school administrators' satisfaction with the EMIS results from EMIS' usefulness and task fit factors.
