- Abstract
The article discusses the role of a mother as a surrogate decision-maker for her son's healthcare decision to die at a healthcare facility. The moral and ethical aspect of this decision and the patient's right to die is assessed by the author. The issues relating to patient autonomy and patient advocacy, maternal relationship and the role of other decision makers are mentioned.
