- Abstract
The article discusses the decision made by the Circuit Court in Warsaw, Poland related to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia's (ICTY) judgment for Radislav Krstić, who spent 35 years in prison. It tackles the massacre in Srebrenica, which is considered as an example of atrocities against civilians. It explains the legal concerns that the Warsaw Court dealt with concerning its decision, such as the fulfillment of the international legal requisites and Polish law.
