Outcomes of treatments for limb fractures in cattle.
Abstract
The article overviews the study on the treatment procedures for limb fractures in cattle. The author stressed that fractures can be treated by stall confinement, external coaptation, transfixation pinning. Based on the findings, the researchers concluded that external coaptation with a Thomas splint-cast combination is an efficient method of treatment with a satisfactory success rate.
