- Abstract
The article argues that the expansion of corporate rights mandate the expansion of corporate obligations encompassing the duty of submission to the right-granting forum or jurisdiction of a court in context to corporate personhood. The article discusses the Supreme Court case of Citizens United v. FEC, which documented the corporate personhood laws. It informs that comprehension of corporate citizenship and rights correlates with a state's ability to practice jurisdiction over corporations.
