- Abstract
The article focuses on the closure of the Forensic Science Service (FSS) due to lack of viability in Great Britain. University of Strathclyde Centre for Forensic Science forensic chemistry reader Niamh Nic Daeid says that the closure of the forensic service will have an impact on the way justice is delivered in the country. It says that FSS was under operation since 1930 which was responsible for the forensic techniques development such as shoe footprint database and DNA fingerprinting.
