- Abstract
The article reports on the separation of the old Engineering Council into two organizations in Great Britain. These organizations are the Engineering & Technology Board (ETB) and the Engineering Council (UK ECxUK). However, it is noted that there is a confusion regarding the respective roles of both organizations. An overview of the roles of both organizations in the country is offered. Some of them include the responsibility of ETB to promote engineering and professional registration, and the obligations of ECxUK to maintain the national register of the Chartered Engineers and Engineering Technicians. Meanwhile, information on the specific address where free copies of engineering brochure are available is offered.
