- Abstract
The article focuses on immunoglobulin light-chain (AL) amyloidosis in cardiomyopathy patients. It says that patients who showed symptoms similar with cardiomyopathy could be considered as light-chain amyloidosis. It mentions that novel treatment for light-chain myeloidosis are lenalidomide, bortezomib, and pomalidomide. It states that prolonged survival is possible with systemic therapy if the disease was diagnosed before the progression of advanced cardiomyopathy. INSET: REFERENCE GUIDE.
