- Abstract
The article reports on bladder cancer, which though declining in developed nations because of tobacco and environmental regulations is rapidly increasing in developing nations. It states transparently, the most effective method of preventing and reducing deaths from bladder cancer is banning of cigarette smoking. It states educating patients and physicians regarding the importance of prompt evaluation of macroscopic hematuria can prevent bladder cancer.
