- Abstract
The article discusses the failure of an inquiry to exempt parody and satire to New Zealand Copyright Law in 2008 and its impact on the development and distribution of the said works in the country as of 2012. It says that the lack of government actions about the issue placed parody and satire artists at risk of prosecution. It notes the potential for Telecom New Zealand Ltd.'s Telecon Parody and Should-A.com to infringe works in the country.
