- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated a population of Sarracenia purpurea inhibiting an oligotrophic, level, quaking peatland in southern New Hampshire. The peatland is consisted of a floating sphagnum mat surrounded by a small moat. The characteristics that were measured include the number of trapping pitchers per plant and inflorescence height. The thoughts and observations by the researcher while conducting the fieldwork are also mentioned.
