- Abstract
The article describes a quasi-continuous web formation process that allows the reproducible, clean, flexible and cost-effective production of a small batch of nonwoven textiles. Components of the process are a fiberopener with three rollers, an airduct with variable airflow and a screen. Computational fluid dynamics was utilized in order to generate even fiber disbribution over the web width with the shape of the fiber outlet.
