The article provides an analysis of futuristic nanomaterials and composites. Topics discussed include moisture resistance of the electrospun fibers, mechanical properties of poly lactic acid (PLA) nanofiber composites, damping properties of lightweight metal alloys, role of percolation theory in development of smart nanomaterials, and electronic structure of carbon nanotubes.
