- Abstract
WGBBI might be a tool superior to the other tests, since the recent expansion in the bacterial genome database enabled WGBBI to identify the organisms that the MALDI biotyper failed to identify.4 In summary, a case of PD-associated peritonitis probably caused by I Brevibacterium i , which would cause complicated peritonitis by forming a biofilm on the PD catheter, was presented. Complicated peritoneal dialysis-associated peritonitis caused by Brevibacterium Peritonitis remains as a potentially serious peritoneal dialysis (PD) complication.
