- Abstract
pH‐Responsive aminoproline residues were used to tune the stability of collagen triple helices in acidic and basic environments. The position of the aminoproline residue within the triple helix and the absolute configuration at C(4) enabled tuning of the stability over a wide range. The results open opportunities for the development of stimuli‐responsive collagen‐based materials. More information can be found in the Full Paper by H. Wennemers et al. on page 7938.
