- Abstract
Presents a study in which ADAR2-mediated RNA editing was studied by generating mice that are homozygous for a targeted functional null allele. Role of the candidate mammalian editing enzyme ADAR2; Specification of an ion channel determinant, the Q/R site, in AMPA receptor GluR-B pre-messenger RNA; Conclusion that this transcript is the physiologically most important substrate of ADAR2.
