- Abstract
In order to realize the recycling of gallium electrowinning lean solution in zinc hydrometallurgy, aiming and solve the problem of high impurity ion aluminum contents in gallium electrowinning lean solution, taking lime cream as dealumination reagent, the aluminum in gallium electrowinning lean solution was removed by lime cream precipitation method. The effects of process parameters including lime cream addition, reaction temperature, reaction time and stirring speed on aluminum removal were studied. The results show that under the conditions of reaction temperature 85 ℃, addition of lime milk 4 times to the theoretical molar ratio of calcium to aluminum, reaction time 3 h and stirring speed 500 r/min, the aluminum removal rate from electrowinning lean solution is 92.5% and the gallium loss rate is 21.9%. The gallium electrowinning lean solution can be returned to the alkali solution process of gallium enrichment to realize recycling.
