- Abstract
This paper reports findings of a study among small French food industries and the way they implement cooperation with their main retailer. Statistical results provide a typology of three different cooperative behaviors: customer oriented, strategic and technical. We then propose to examine cooperation from the supplier position, analyzing what kind of specific features (size, private label turnover, dyadic exchange, etc) do characterise suppliers from each different cooperative behavior group.
