- Abstract
The article describes the second workshop series of the project "Mapping Religious Studies" in the summer semester of 2022. The project aims to promote networking among mid-level and junior researchers and serve as a platform for thematic exchange. Various research topics were discussed in the workshops, including the social formality of global charismatic Christianity and the role of religion in plurality. Questions regarding the analysis of social interactions and the study of emotions were also discussed. One workshop focused on the role of the media, particularly The Watchtower magazine, in the process of constitution. Another workshop discussed the position of religious history within contemporary religious studies and criticism of modern religious studies. The workshops allowed for intense discussions and lively debates.
