Abstract
The author reflects on the function of radiographers. He states that radiographers may not perform independently on the administration of iodine based contrast since it was not included in their education, though they could assist the radiologists and medical practitioners. He says that radiographers must expand their professional role for the benefit of the patients. He adds that inadequate career structure and training affects the retention and recruitment of radiographers.
