The article presents the case study of a 14 years old girl suffering since birth from epidermolysis bullosa (EB) which is a group of rare, genetically determined disorders characterized by bullae and vesicles that form on the skin and mucous membranes. The treatment provided over the last ten years has been primarily prophylactic. Despite her disorder, the patient manages reasonably well and lives a normal life.
